Aloha and welcome to Hawaii Travel Made Easy! I’m Marcie, your guide to planning the perfect Hawaii vacation. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning traveler, my goal is to help you plan a stress-free, unforgettable trip to paradise.

My love for Hawaii started when I was a little girl. My grandma used to split her time between Seattle and Kauai, and she’d bring me back VHS tapes full of hula lessons and luau shows that I’d watch on repeat.

When I was 10 years old, I finally visited Hawaii for the first time, and it completely changed my world. I became fascinated with Hawaiian history, learning about the monarchy and soaking up every myth and legend I could find. I even started taking hula lessons at 12 years old, which eventually led to 20 years of professional dancing.

Over the years, my passion for Hawaii only grew. In high school, I worked as a reservationist renting cars in Hawaii—back when booking online was still a new thing! In college, I sold Hawaii Entertainment Books on my own website (those coupon books with incredible deals for tourists). I was part of the Hawaii Club at Washington State University, dancing at their annual luaus, and even wrote my thesis on how hula has evolved from ancient times to today.

Fast forward to today—I’ve been to Hawaii more than 40 times—yes, you heard that right! As a mom of two, I know the ins and outs of traveling to Hawaii solo, with kids, extended family, on girls trips, and even on couples’ trips.

I’ve stayed at luxury resorts, budget-friendly condos, and everything in between—so I know what works and what doesn’t. And after helping countless friends and family members plan their dream trips, I decided to make it official and launched Hawaii Travel with Kids in 2019, a blog dedicated to making Hawaii travel easy and fun for families.

That’s why I created Hawaii Travel Made Easy—a podcast where I’ll be sharing insider tips, budgeting advice, and must-know travel hacks so you can enjoy Hawaii without the stress, overspending, or overwhelm.

In each episode, we’ll cover topics like how to choose the right island, when to book flights for the best prices, where to stay, what to pack, and which activities are worth it. I’ll also share my favorite local eats, hidden gems, and ways to make the most of your time in Hawaii.

So if you’re dreaming of a Hawaii vacation but don’t know where to start—or you want to make your trip even better—you’re in the right place.

Be sure to subscribe so you never miss an episode, and if you find this podcast helpful, leave a review—it helps more travelers just like you!
